This arts-oriented camp for young children will engage your child in an imaginative and creative way. Campers will have a traditional dance experience with classes in ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. These classes will be paired with visual arts projects such as mask-making, costume design and mural-making. Performance arts classes will also be incorporated in the form of musical theater classes, acting and improvisation and silent story-telling. With a diverse staff of dance, theater and visual arts teachers, this camp offers a variety of fine arts experiences for an artistic child.

A week of dancing for intermediate level dancers. Students will take a variety of dance classes that include ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and modern. Classes will be paired with dance academics and the curriculum will expand with a special guest teacher class. Choreography will be integral to this camp and will be demonstrated on our final day of camp at our in-studio demonstration. Students will also engage in theater arts activities such as acting & improvisation and a writing workshop.

This camp is designed to nourish and foster the advanced dancer. Each day will include a 90-minute ballet class, paired with other subjects such as modern, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, pilates, and the occassional dance academic. Throughout the week, dancers will have the unique opportunity to work with guest teachers from the Boston area, and will be exposed to the vital knowledge dancers should carry with themselves through their dance career. CSDS Youth & Dance ensemble and 'Teen' program studnts are eligible for this camp.

This camp gives young children the opportunity to enjoy creative dance classes paired with visual arts activities. Each day is based on a fun and engaging theme and the curriculum includes dance-based games, creative movement, music and rhythm and arts & crafts. This camp will give your child the chance to explore their imagination with a focus on movement and will help to develop social skills in the classroom.
