Sarah Goddard ballet Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts degree under the Chancellor’s Talent Award from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. At UMASS, she performed in all dance productions and danced the title role in Thomas Vacanti’s rendition of The Firebird. While a student, Sarah was selected to perform with Alvin Ailey II in George Faison’s Movin’ On at the Fine Arts Center in Amherst, MA. Upon graduation, Sarah performed professionally for two seasons with Columbia City Ballet in South Carolina under Director William Starrett. Sarah performed in all productions with Dracula, Romeo and Juliet, and The Sleeping Beauty being her favorite experiences. Sarah started performing for Anthony Williams when she relocated back to Boston. Still performing for Anthony Williams, her most notable roles are Snow Queen and Arabian in Urban Nutcracker. Sarah is presently on faculty with Tony Williams Dance Center, Boston Ballet Citydance, Harvard University’s Recreation Department and is a regular substitute for Boston Ballet’s adult classes. Sarah is also a certified Pilates Mat instructor
